EcoGun AS MAN Direct Charge
EcoGun AS MAN Direct Charge
The EcoGun AS MAN DC from Dürr is a state-of-the-art manual electrostatic spray gun engineered for premium-quality industrial finishing. Using direct electrostatic charging and compressed air atomization, it offers exceptional transfer efficiency, reduced paint consumption, and a superior coating result compared to conventional air spray systems.
This model is suitable for both flammable and non-flammable paints and is approved for use in hazardous areas according to CSA Class I, Division 1, Group D as well as ATEX-compliant environments.
The spray gun is intended exclusively for hand-guided electrostatic coating inside a properly ventilated spray booth. Depending on the material used, the gun is available with three paint supply configurations:
Straight stainless-steel pipe – for flammable topcoats & clear coats
Spiral pipe – for flammable metallic paints
Non-conductive paint hose (5m or 10m) – for non-flammable paints
Electrostatic charging significantly improves wrap-around capability, coating uniformity, and overall application efficiency.
The integrated cascade inside the gun generates up to 60 kV output voltage and 80 µA maximum current, providing strong electrostatic attraction and minimizing overspray.
Adjustable material flow control
Adjustable spray width via flat-jet control
Three optimized air-cap configurations (HN400, HN600, HN800) for different materials and viscosities
Smooth atomization with high finish uniformity
The gun includes grounding connections, electrostatic monitoring, anti-static requirements, and compliance with industrial explosion-protection standards.
Lightweight (540 g)
Comfortable trigger mechanism
Anti-fatigue grip design
Durable stainless-steel and polymer components
The gun is designed for quick rinsing, fast nozzle and needle changes, and simple daily servicing. All air caps, nozzles, seals, and needles can be replaced using the included tool kit.
